History
Biprocemwap S.A. is a design company that provides services mainly for the needs of the cement, lime and gypsum industries, as well as for those industries which, in their production processes, use such resources as limestone, aggregates, coal, and the like.
On 1 April 1949 |
Central Administration of Mineral Industry in Warsaw established Design Office for Limestone, Lime and Raw Material - State Separated Enterprise. |
1 January 1951 |
The Office took over Study and Project Cement Industry Office in Opole. |
On 1 June 1952 |
The Company changed its name and became a Design Office for Construction Materials Industry. |
On 1 July 1955 |
Following Decision No 45 from the Minister of Construction and Construction Materials Industry, the name was changed into the Design Office for Cement and Lime Industry. |
In December 1963 |
The first departments were moved into the new building located in Kraków, on Morawskiego street. |
On 1 January 1971 |
The agency took over the Local Branch of the Design Office for Concrete Industry Biprodex in Skawina. |
On 1 July 1971 |
Design Office for Cement and Lime Industry joined Enterprise for Implementation, Lime and Gypsum Industry |
In the second quarter of 1975 |
Construction of the Office building of the company branch in Opole was completed. |
20th April 1976 |
Construction of the Design Office was completed on the 20th April 1976, merging with Enterprise for Implementation Cement, Lime and Gypsum Industry. The new unit assumed the name: Enterprise for Implementation Cement, Lime and Gypsum Industry in Kraków – INVESTCEMENT. |
In June 1985 |
The previous name – Design Office for Cement, Lime and Gypsum Industry in Krakow, BIPROCEMWAP – was assumed once again. |
1992 |
Restructuring of Design Office for Cement, Lime and Gypsum into BIPROCEMWAP S.A., a joint venture. |
1997 |
BIPROCEMWAP was introduced, and since then has been using the System of Quality Management, in accordance with ISO 9001:2000. |
June 2000 |
First contract for Biprocemwap as a Turnkey Contractor in the investment for Lafarge Kujawy. |
